Frozen Food Manager

Position Purpose: Exemplifies and ensures strong customer service in all aspects of the job. Directs and controls the operation of the Frozen Department to achieve sales and profit objectives.

Job Description: As a primary contact for customers, the Frozen Food Manager provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Trains, supervises, schedules, and assigns duties to Frozen Food Clerks. Changes signs and prices as directed by merchandising. Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock and inventory in the frozen food area. Responsible for minimizing out of stock product. Writes frozen food order in the order guide book. Checks order for completeness upon arrival. Rotates product and removes expired stock daily. Keeps frozen food cases stocked with product, cleans department area, restocks items in freezer for other departments. Boards received from trucks are loaded onto pallets. Pallets are taken to the sales floor with a pallet jack and product is loaded into cases
