Job Description
The Big Rapids Hospital team is looking for Part Time (0.60 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice caring for patients on their busy team. In addition to PAs, they are seeking Acute Care or Adult Gerontology NPs. Experience is preferred but not required.
Position Details
- Working with a well‑established physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines to assure safety and success
- Average of 4 twelve‑hour shifts over a two‑week period (7am-7 pm or 7pm–7am), with no call requirements
- Variability with scheduling as needed with the team
- Robust ramp‑up and orientation process
- Virtual Nocturnist available for consultation as needed

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
- Master’s degree required
- NP education and certification (post‑2000) must be from a program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC
- 3 years of relevant, current clinical experience
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative NP role
- Michigan NP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physician Assistant
- Master’s degree required; graduate of an accredited PA program
- Michigan PA license
- PA‑C certification through NCCPA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
