Intern for Process Automation (Mandatory Internship)

The PT/TST Security & Digital Transformation department coordinates information security–related topics worldwide for the market regions Germany, Europe, the USA, China and Overseas, as well as for the international competence centres, in order to support compliant, stable and secure IT operations and to achieve security objectives.

Within the department, there is Cyber Security and Quality Assurance team, which is the central team responsible for Information Security Officer Coordination and Internal & External Audit compliance topics. This motivated team always looks for opportunity to automate repetitive tasks using Microsoft Power automate, N8N and python.

We are looking for you – a team player with an innovative mindset, strong customer focus, analytical thinking and a passion for new challenges! With us, you will support us in automation projects as well as a wide range of diverse and exciting tasks that have a significant impact on the entire organisation.

Tasks:

• Design and implement end-to-end automated workflows using platforms like Power Automate, N8N or python to streamline document-heavy business processes.

• Manage dynamic content and variables to ensure data flows correctly between disparate systems like SharePoint, Excel, and APIs

• Regular meeting with various stakeholders to understand their requirements

• Develop and refine System and User prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to ensure outputs meet specific compliance or analytical standards

• Optimize existing automation for speed and cost-efficiency

• Document technical architecture, including URI structures, API versions, and variable definitions, to ensure maintainability by the wider team

• Presenting the results and process in team or department meetings

• Miscellaneous tasks like writing or editing intranet article and creating presentations on need

The activity can start from August 2026.

• Studying Bachelor or Masters in engineering or sciences, preferably with a focus on Computer science, Information Technology, Data analytics, AI or a comparable field of study

• Proficient English skills, both spoken and written, German is a plus

• Confident handling of MS Office

• Basic knowledge in Microsoft PowerBI, Power Automate, Azure, N8N and python is an advantage

• Independent and structured way of working, quick grasp of new topics, and strong analytical thinking skills

• Strong engagement and teamwork skills

• Analytical thinking paired with a strategic approach

• A high level of commitment

Please note that your internship at this location must be mandatory.

Additional Information:

The internship takes place at our Vaihingen location in Stuttgart; regular on-site presence (2-5 days per week, depending on the phase of the internship) is required.
