Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team and drive dealership performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in automotive sales, customer satisfaction, team development, and revenue growth.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, coaching sales staff, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the dealership meets or exceeds sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the dealership sales team
- Set monthly sales goals and track team performance
- Train and coach sales consultants on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
- Monitor inventory and collaborate with management on pricing and promotions
- Ensure an exceptional customer buying experience
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations
- Work closely with the finance and service departments to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of CRM systems and dealership software
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
