Serve as a client relations coordinator, providing administrative support to the Mental Health Center. Assist the Director and Supervisors by performing office support duties. Work with clients, conducting follow up and reminders calls. Perform office duties that are critical to effective mental health center functioning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the operations of the receptionist area.
Cover front desk by greeting families and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner. Answer phones, take messages, route calls appropriately, etc.
Make reminder calls for all clients and follow-up to maximize show rate to appointments.
Responsible for metro card distribution and tracking.
Responsible for petty cash.
Create files for intake clinicians.
Support psychiatry staff with schedule and documentation that is needed for their review.
Maintain communication and documentation with insurance companies and families and Fiscal Department to ensure that clients’ benefits and payments to the clinic are maximized.
Submit weekly and monthly reports to Director regarding status of income being generated by the clinic staff including insurance lapses and co-payments
Other clerical specific tasks as indicated by the Director.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Bachelor’ Degree Preferred.
Minimum 2 years previous experience in office management & client relations.
Able to work independently on projects as needed and collaboratively with clinic and wider agency staff.
Detailed-oriented. Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with use of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) database, Outlook e-mail and other systems.
Bilingual/Spanish Speaking preferred.

Salary
$35,700.00 - 36,700 (In addition to your annual salary, we offer eligible employees a Merit award in recognition of an employee achieving a rating based on their outstanding performance evaluation. The award is based on a percentage of the employee’s annual earnings, and incorporates an award formula developed for your specific program area.)
