Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Life & Health Insurance to lead the strategic development and expansion of our Life and Health insurance division. This executive role is focused on building a scalable sales system, developing high-performing teams, and establishing Del Toro Life & Health as a leading force in the market.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep experience in FMO environments, strong carrier relationships, and a track record of building or scaling insurance distribution platforms. This individual will be responsible for designing sales infrastructure, negotiating carrier and partner agreements, and driving aggressive growth across all Life & Health product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and expansion of the Life, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance division
 • Design and implement a scalable sales system for life and health policies, including structure, processes, and performance standards
 • Oversee the implementation or development of an FMO-style distribution model (preferred experience)
 • Develop strategic sales partnerships with our franchisees to grow and expand this business line
 • Negotiate contracts and distribution agreements with carriers and FMOs
 • Monitor key performance indicators, including production, retention, and revenue growth
 • Identify new business opportunities and expand product offerings across Life, Health, Dental, and Vision
 • Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and scalability of all processes
 • Design and implement a company-wide training system aligned with the Life & Health sales strategy

Qualifications

Active Florida Life and Health Insurance License (2-15) required
 • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
 • Minimum 2 + years of experience in Life & Health insurance sales, distribution, or leadership roles
 • Strong experience working within or building FMO structures (highly desirable)
 • Proven track record of building sales teams and driving large-scale production growth
 • Experience negotiating carrier contracts and managing strategic partnerships
 • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level leadership abilities
 • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
