High School Co-Op - Maintenance

Hours: 20 hours per week (Weekday mornings 7am-11am or afternoons 11am-3pm, 4 hours per shift) 

Duration: August through end of school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic preventive maintenance tasks (cleaning, lubricating equipment, checking filters)
• Help keep maintenance shop and work areas organized and clean
• Assist with painting, light carpentry, or small facility improvement projects
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
• Help document completed work or update maintenance logs
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
• Learn and follow company policies and proper tool usage

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in high school with a strong interest in manufacturing or logistics.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
