In the role of Utilities Engineering Project Manager, we'll count on you to: 
  • In the role of Utilities Engineering Project Manager, we'll count on you to

  • Provide project engineering and utility coordination with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients.
  • Develop utility basemaps, coordinate with utility owners and agencies, develop relocation strategies, assist in preparation of cost estimates, preparation of engineering plans and specification for utility relocations. 
  • Work independently as well as assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/task. 
  • Be involved in highway and railroad utility design and plans production for utility owners and Municipal clients.
  • Perform other duties as needed

     

     

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Ability to obtain an Engineer’s License in VA, MD and DC
  • Ability to read and understand civil transportation engineering design plans
  • Ability to read and understand utility installation and adjustment plans
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience is required 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
