Job Summary: The Referral Coordinator is primarily responsible for making appointments for patients at all sites utilizing the central appointment process. This includes, but not limited to, making specialty service appointments; patient registration; coordinating the appointment process for patients; assisting with obtaining specialist consult reports; arranging transportation to specialty appointments; answering and directing all phone calls; and maintaining a professional and confidential working environment. Required Education/Required Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: Minimum 3 year experience in an office setting preferable medical office setting. Experience working with underserved or homeless populations preferred. *For correctional position-correctional experience- preferred but not required. BR
