We're looking for someone to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor-RN-CPSP who:

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of staff and the implementation of CPSP program components. This role ensures that program activities are effectively integrated with other patient care departments, promoting a comprehensive and collaborative approach to maternal and perinatal health. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Supervisor coordinates the delivery of CPSP services, ensuring high-quality care for patients.

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for coordination and supervision of the CPSP program, activities and services.
  2. Assists in the development of program policies and procedures.
  3. Responsible for ensuring implementation of program policies and procedures.
  4. Responsible for supervision of staff and for staff meeting program requirements.
  5. Provides leadership, daily management, and oversight of CPSP program operations including forecasting and staff planning, scheduling, quality performance monitoring, ongoing performance improvement processes, hiring/staffing, counseling and development of CPSP staff.
  6. Responsible for selection, onboarding, supervising and training of new employees.
  7. Responsible for providing education, guidance and consultation to staff in the case management of patients.
  8. Responsible for assessing incoming OB Triage calls and scheduling follow up appointments.
  9. Responsible for staff completion and documentation of risk assessments during each trimester and postpartum for all prenatal patients enrolled in CPSP at sites managed. 
  10. Responsible for receiving delivery records and coordinating postpartum visit appointments. 
  11. Responsible for reporting program requirements and ensuring program staff receives adequate support and training.
  12. Participate in case conferences, staff meetings and program planning.
  13. Communicates with appropriate personnel as necessary, to examine, revise and evaluate inner-clinic processes to promote efficiency.
  14. Schedules and facilitates staff meetings with the CPHW and Nurses in Women's Health.
  15. Reviews labs and imaging results and communicates any abnormal lab or ultrasound results to provider.
  16. Reviews the work of the CPHWs to assure accuracy in documentation and billing. 14.Analyze and manages CPSP patient show reports (e.g., CPSP no shows, patient left
  17. without being seen, cancellation, re-scheduled appointments etc.).

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  1. RN / LVN preferred.
  2. Experience in perinatal services.
  3. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  5. Must provide own transportation, must possess valid driver’s license and insurance as required by the State of California.
  6. Cultural competence with regards to the population served by the program.
