Job Description
Centro is seeking a 2nd shift Storekeeper to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring materials and components are accurate, well-organized, and available when needed. This role is critical to production success and helping ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
As a Storekeeper, you’ll work closely with manufacturing, materials, and purchasing teams to support daily production schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep a clean and organized central stores area.
What You’ll Do
- Generate and pull system-driven pick lists to support daily and upcoming production schedules
- Pick, stage, and scan components accurately for manufacturing work centers
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
- Identify, communicate, and help resolve inventory discrepancies and stock-outs
- Support receiving functions as needed and consolidate partial shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized central stores area using 5S methodology
- Practice first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory management
- Communicate proactively with manufacturing, scheduling, and purchasing teams
- Follow all safety, quality, and documentation standards
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability and willingness to learn inventory, receiving, and material handling processes
- Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems
- Forklift experience or certification is preferred (training may be provided)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Commitment to quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and up to 50 lbs. periodically
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs throughout the shift
- Must be able to pass a physical exam
