About the Role – Events Administrative Assistant

The Events Administrative Assistant must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Event Planning and Event Sales Managers including, but not limited to, answering phones and speaking with clients, maintaining systems, creation of leads, presentations, proposals and contracts, hotel tour announcements and coordinating client needs for managers. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor and can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

Wage Information

The hourly rate for the position is $24.50.

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast- paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of computer applications or ability to learn new computer programs. Knowledge of Envision, Opera and Cvent Diagramming will be prioritized
  • Strong organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Luxury hospitality knowledge and/or administrative support experience is preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and confidently
