Job Description

As a Steward, you will play a vital role in the cleanliness and organization of our culinary operation, helping ensure a seamless and safe dining experience for our guests and team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all hotel kitchenware including china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils

  • Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment as directed

  • Remove trash and recyclables and ensure kitchen and stewarding areas are clean, organized, and safe

  • Restock supplies and assist with food preparation support as needed

  • Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures in compliance with food safety standards

  • Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to support overall kitchen efficiency

  • Provide courteous service and assistance to colleagues and occasionally guests

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy weight (up to 50 lbs)

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Previous stewarding or kitchen experience preferred but not required
