Technical Editor

Peraton is seeking a Technical Editor for the Global Cyber Center (GCC). 

 

Responsiblities:

 

• Editing & Review: Correcting content, style, tone, and ensuring technical accuracy, clarity, and consistency in documents.
• Audience Focus: Adapting complex information for specific users. 
• Collaboration: Working with writers, engineers, and subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Standards & Consistency: Developing and enforcing style guides, templates, and organizational standards.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting peer reviews and testing content for usability. 

Key Skills:

• Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and understanding of audience needs.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous review of content.

Required Experience/Education:

• 2 years experience with BS/BA; 0 years experience with MS/MA; 6 years experience with no degree
• Active SECRET clearance

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
