Keller Freight Solutions is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team! Located at 1250 Geneva Blvd., Defiance, OH 43512.
Salary: $70000 - $80000 / year This role offers a base salary between $70K and $80K, which will be adjusted based on your level of experience, along with performance-based incentives.
Working hours: 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Could be longer days depending on travel.

Job Overview: This position will mainly focus on conducting sales out in the field via interactions with both potential and already existing customers. The main responsibility of this role is to offer the best possible customer experience. They will experience first-hand how to discover, negotiate, and close business at a high level as they work with Keller’s top sellers.

What you'll be doing:
• Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client logistics needs and challenges to provide customized solutions.
• Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value of our services.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, and logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions using CRM software.
What we're looking for:
• 2+ years of experience in the logistics field preferred
• Excellent organization and planning skills that accommodate the client’s needs
• HS diploma, College degree preferred
• Strong motivation for achieving sales goals and initiatives through regular planning
• Negotiation skills and ability to sell customer needs
• Proven results in building relationships with clients
• Ability to manage processes
• Effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills
Working conditions:
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.
