Job Description
Summary: The individual in this position will work as an operator in the Packaging operations in the Salt Plant, Employee will work in a safe manner following all procedures as trained. In addition will be required to inspect, maintain and clean assigned equipment and related work area. The individual will be able to run various bagging and compacting equipment related to the production of consumer packaged salt goods. The individual should be experienced with or have the ability to train to obtain automatic packaging equipment including the use of robotic processes. The individual will also be qualified in forklift operations capable of performing material handling assignments, transport product and materials to assigned storage areas, and to load trucks and boxcars effectively.
