Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Shift: Days, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Location: St. Mary Medical Center
Position Purpose
The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property.
As a Security Officer you will:
Be responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.
Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment.
Have oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center)
Handle Duties associated with the Operation of Metal Detector and Wanding
Other Duties as directed by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
HS graduate or equivalent required
1-year previous security experience required
1 year of hospital-based experience highly preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Clean Driving Record Required
Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance once hired.
