BetaNXT is a leading provider of frictionless wealth management infrastructure, real-time data solutions, and an enhanced advisor experience. We invest in platforms, products, and partnerships to accelerate growth for the ecosystem we serve. Our connective approach empowers our clients to deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end advisor and investor experience.

BetaNXT is a premier provider of technology, data, and operations as services to a rich client base of wealth managers, institutional wealth firms, and digital brokers. It is comprised of three industry-leading businesses which, combined, provide end-to-end solutions across the investment lifecycle.

Overview of the Senior Development Operations Engineer:

The Senior Development Operations Engineer is responsible for design and operational enablement, production change execution, and platform reliability across BetaNXT’s cloud environments. This role operates at the intersection of Architecture, DevOps, Cloud Operations, compliance, and change governance, ensuring that critical platform services remain available, auditable, and aligned to business priorities.

The role plays a hands‑on part in emergency change execution, monitoring platform migrations, production incident response, and audit evidence support, while representing DevOps and platform operations in governance forums.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Development Operations Engineer:

  • Execute and govern production changes, including initiating and communicating emergency changes, escalating to iCAB when critical services are impacted, and clearly articulating business and platform impact to support approvals
  • Serve as a standing DevOps/Platform Operations representative in iCAB review meetings and contribute to change governance discussions
  • Support cloud monitoring, observability, and platform migration initiatives, partnering with Cloud Operations and engineering teams to transition tooling safely and reduce production risk
  • Provide technical guidance during platform and monitoring migrations to ensure stability and minimize disruption
  • Operate and support production cloud environments by monitoring alerts, responding to incidents (e.g., system alarms, disk utilization), and coordinating remediation efforts
  • Collaborate closely with Cloud Operations and engineering stakeholders during live production incidents and post‑incident follow‑up
  • Support compliance and audit activities by gathering and delivering evidence, partnering with security and compliance teams, and participating in audit review sessions
  • Ensure infrastructure and platform configurations meet regulatory, security, and partner requirements
  • Contribute to platform implementation initiatives (e.g., AIOps), providing input on dependencies, risks, and priorities
  • Communicate urgency and technical constraints when platform issues impact client delivery, revenue, or business outcomes, and advocate for timely resolution of blockers
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Development, Security, Cloud Operations, and external partners to support platform operations and strategic initiatives
  • Participate in organizational and operating‑model discussions and communicate effectively across both technical and business stakeholders

Skills & Experience of the Senior Development Operations Engineer:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations supporting production environments, with hands‑on experience across cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure), monitoring/alerting systems, and production incident and change management workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of emergency change processes, approvals, and governance frameworks in production environments
  • Ability to assess, articulate, and communicate platform and business impact during outages, incidents, or delivery delays
  • Proven capability to operate effectively in high‑pressure situations with sound operational judgment and as an escalation point for business‑critical issues
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly in high‑urgency, cross‑functional environments
  • Ability to balance hands‑on technical execution with governance, compliance, and risk management requirements
  • Experience supporting compliance, audit, and evidence collection processes, particularly in regulated or financial‑services environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, observability tooling, and cloud monitoring/migration initiatives
  • Experience supporting client‑facing systems, integrations, or external connectivity platforms (preferred)
