We are seeking a full-time dietary aide and sometimes cooks or will train to cook, to join our team of exceptional and motivated caregivers. We are looking for individuals that want to make a difference in the lives of those around them, want to be challenged and rewarded. 11-7pm shift with every other weekend off.
Requirements:
*Experience preferred but not necessary.
*Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of non-supervisory employees in the absence of the Director of Food Service.
*Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
*One-year institutional food service experience as a cook preferred.
*Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
*Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
*Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition to supervisor or nurse.
