Experienced Veterinary Receptionist, Vet Assistant

Compensation: $17.85 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Pretoria Animal Hospital is currently looking for a full-time (30-35 hours per week) Veterinary Receptionist, Vet Assistant. The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their hospitalized pets. Also included are reception duties.
Your role will be:
Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians with various tasks and the treatment of pet patients
Providing compassionate care duties, including feeding and walking patients
General hospital maintenance, including cleaning kennels
Enhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team
Receptionist duties
What’s required?
Exceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clients
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team
Compassion and a nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patients
Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations
Positive outlook and enthusiasm for learning
Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
