Job Summary
As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of equipment and facilities within our organization. This full-time position involves leading maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
Primary Duties
- Lead and coordinate daily maintenance operations across all assigned equipment and systems.
- Perform skilled troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to extend the life of assets and reduce operational disruptions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
- Document and report maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and enhance overall facility efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting and procurement for maintenance supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring and guiding maintenance teams to achieve high performance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.
- Commitment to safety best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and report to management.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic industrial environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Candidates MUST have experience in PLC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Industrial Equipment.
Education / Experience
A minimum of a technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or mechanical technology is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least 5 years of progressive experience in maintenance roles, including leadership responsibilities, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
