Job Details
Responsible for loading and unloading material within a warehouse operation, which includes pulling orders together and assembling them for shipment to customers.
JOB DUTIES
- Operate forklift, side loading forklift, and overhead crane to move material in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks using handling equipment, places materials in storage locations.
- May operate saw, or other equipment to process, package, and load.
- May receive/inspect and verify material count.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Basic math and measuring skills are a must. Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, side loaders, saws, banding, and/or order packing is preferred. On the job training will be provided by the Plant Manager. Experience in the steel distribution industry is highly preferred, but not required.
