As a Facilities Team Lead at Protective Industrial Products, you will play an important role in leading the Facilities Team in efficiently and effectively servicing the needs of the physical plant and the associates within our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for leading a team of Facilities associates, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, and needs are met accurately and on time. Your leadership skills will be critical in maintaining a high-level of Safety and Security within the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing repairs and Preventative Maintenance projects and the costs associated
- Able to follow/understand/promote departmental safety and security regulations.
- Participate in shift team meetings related to training(s), performance management, and scheduling.
- Help maintain exterior grounds and barriers
- Drive standard operating procedures and continuous improvement across all departments.
- Ensure individual output/production meets goals and objectives.
- Ensure that your team is working within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot Facility issues and assist in problem solving.
- Communicate any warehouse-related issues during shift to Supervisor.
- Complete assignments and report metrics at department meetings
- Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Maintain and improve Facility appearance and operational integrity.
- Flexibility to work OT when needed, including occasional Saturdays.
- Be vigilant and visible on the production floor.
Other Requirements:
- Conduct other work as directed by supervisor.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Forklift experience required.

- Must be an effective listener.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
- Bilingual skills a plus
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a related field is a plus
Experience:
- Previous team lead experience within a distribution work environment a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Requires sufficient physical ability to walk, stand and sit; frequently bend, push, and pull and occasionally lift and carry moderate amounts of weight in a fast-paced environment.
