Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, supporting hiring for field, operations, and corporate roles. This position partners closely with hiring managers to identify and attract talent with experience in construction, energy, industrial services, and project-based organizations.
This role requires a recruiter who understands workforce demands across craft, project management, and technical disciplines and can effectively build pipelines in competitive labor markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for roles including field operations, project management, estimating, engineering, and corporate support functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand project timelines, workforce planning needs, and skill requirements across active and upcoming projects.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify talent in construction, industrial services, oil & gas, and energy sectors.
- Build and maintain pipelines of craft, technical, and professional candidates in competitive regional markets.
- Screen and evaluate candidates based on technical skills, field experience, certifications, and project exposure.
- Coordinate interviews and drive efficient hiring processes aligned to business urgency and project schedules.
- Maintain accurate data and reporting within the applicant tracking system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on at least one of the following:
- Construction
- Oil & Gas / Energy
- Industrial Services
- Engineering / Project-based environments
- Proven experience recruiting for field management, corporate and project-based roles.
- Strong understanding of hard-to-fill recruiting environments.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers in operations-driven organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting recruiting in a multi-location, project-based company.
- Familiarity with roles such as:
- Project Managers / Construction Managers
- Estimators / Project Controls
- Field Management
- Engineers (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical)
- Knowledge of workforce trends in Texas, Gulf Coast, or similar markets.
- Experience recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt roles.
