Duties and responsibilities:

- Perform design of maritime related mechanical engineering projects
- Work related to equipment/materials specification, calculation, data sheets, drawings reviews, and material handling equipment construction/configuration.
- Assist with design of waterfront facilities such as marinas, container terminals, marine oil terminals, and pump stations (sewer and storm water)
- Assist with condition assessment inspections for oil & gas and utility infrastructure

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; required
- 1+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering design; required
- Professional licensure; preferred
- Experience in design with AutoCAD; required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Availability and willingness to travel
- Bi-lingual / multi-lingual desired
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
Working conditions:
General office setting
Physical requirements:
Ability to use standard office equipment. Sits for a prolonged period of time. Travel may be required.
