E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA in support of the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Theater Army Campaign Support (TACS). TACS is responsible for the integration, automation, and interoperability of intelligence and MDO across the USARPAC AOR. USARPAC and its operational partners require professional services in support of various intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics solutions on an enterprise scale. This effort provides subject matter expertise to contribute to organizational agility in a collaborative national security environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide full lifecycle support to risk management and analysis on intelligence networks and systems to identify capability gaps, threats, vulnerabilities and provide other technical support as required.
- Rely on cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) background to be a technical leader and support Enterprise activities and customers throughout multiple classified computing domains.
- Assume responsibility for ensuring all Information System Security policies, standards, and directives are enforced to support assessment, authorization and continued operation of information systems processing classified information.
- Define security expectations, drive the remediation of vulnerabilities, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems remain authorized, protected, and mission ready.
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED or Associate’s degree and 22+ years of experience in a professional work environment, Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
- 3+ years of experience as an ISSO Information Assurance Technical (IAT) supporting or Information Assurance Management (IAM)
- IAM Level I and/or Level II certification
- At least one of the following certifications: CAP (Certified Authorization Professional), CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification) Experience with integrating MI Systems with other warfighting functions such as Fires, Mission Command, Signal, Electronic Warfare, etc., on multiple classification networks.
- Experience developing technological responses with recommendations to prevent, reduce, detect, and respond to cyberspace threats
- Ability to conduct research and analysis of actionable cyberspace threats requiring a rapid response. Assess information security for classified activities
- Ability to conduct research and assessments to develop and update system security outlining security operating procedures
- Ability to access National Security Agency Network and Communications Security Information
- Ability to travel to other CONUS and OCONUS sites as needed.
- Ability to provide NE and advanced level Computer Environment (CE) support.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.?
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.?
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as an ISSM, ISSE, or SCA supporting classified programs
- Experience completing certification and accreditation packages and requirements via the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system for RMF documentation submission
- Ability to perform security inspections, validate clearances, performg certifications and cyber awareness training
- Ability to assist with the issuance of Public Key Infrastructures (PKIs)
- Ability to prepare Body of Evidence for Authorization/Assessment activities to receive Approval to Connect/Operate
- Master’s Degree
- Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA-Security).
