Job Description
Job Purpose
Provide critical support for the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting efforts. Partner with the finance team, as well as cross-functionally, to achieve key financial and operational objectives, support strategic and business decision-making, and measure performance/progress against stated objectives.
Essential Functions
- Participate in standard financial processes that include month-end closing, quarterly annual forecast, annual operating plan, and management reporting
- Prepare, review, and report monthly financial results to ensure accuracy, highlighting key variances and trends
- Develop and maintain financial models to support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and insights and communicate findings to management
- Participate in month-end close activities and collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline and improve financial reporting processes and procedures
- Partner with cross-functional business leaders to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) with dashboard to measure business performance
- Assist with the preparation of presentations and other materials for senior management and the Board of Directors
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
- Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High level of proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning and data management software (e.g., SQL, SAP, Hyperion) desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $110,000 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
