Strategic Partnerships Manager – Biologicals and Advanced Therapies

We are looking for a new colleague to join us as Strategic Partnerships Manager in the field of biologicals and advanced therapy products, supporting the long-term growth and innovation of our company. We are seeking a professional who enjoys building international relationships, feels at home in the world of pharmaceutical/biotechnology collaborations, and can drive complex business projects from scouting through contracting to alliance management.

Main responsibilities

• Identifying and scouting potential partners and sources for biological products and advanced therapies
• Developing business models for in-licensing, distribution and other cooperation structures
• Analysing and screening incoming business proposals, identifying the most favourable collaboration opportunities for Egis
• Preparing and negotiating the commercial structure and content of contract drafts with partners
• Preparing decision-supporting background materials and analyses for potential products
• Alliance management related to concluded agreements: monitoring the implementation of agreements and, where necessary, initiating and conducting renegotiations
• Representing the Company at international professional forums, maintaining active contact with existing and potential business partners
• Supporting the development and operation of an international partner network
• Proposing new cooperation opportunities, regularly reviewing the relevant portfolio and making optimisation proposals

Requirements

• University degree in medicine, pharmacy or biotechnology
•  3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar field/position
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical / biotechnological / chemical industry
• Advanced, negotiation-level command of English
• Confident negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and responsibly; capability to manage complex projects
• Strong cooperation and networking skills, also in an international environment
