The Opportunity
This position works out of our Lake Bluff, IL or any Abbott location within the Office of Ethics and Compliance-General Counsel Division.
What You’ll Work On
Abbott, a leading global healthcare company for over 130 years, seeks an experienced Manager, Data Analytics.
Main Purpose of Role
This role will build and lead the OEC data analytics program. It will set the strategy for the program, lead efforts to secure access to relevant data from worldwide ERPs and other systems in a format that is useable for OEC, build dashboards and other tools that provide insights to broader OEC, and lead training of OEC employees on data analytics principles.
Main Responsibilities
Lead OEC involvement in projects designed to consolidate and categorize data from 100+ ERP systems and other data sources.
Design and build Power BI dashboards and other tools to support OEC-wide data analytics efforts.
Set strategy and future direction of OEC data analytics program.
Train OEC staff on Power BI, other tools, and data analytics concepts.
Maintain existing Power BI dashboards.
Investigate untapped data sources and potential new areas for analytics.
Explore advanced (predictive) analytics possibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (± 16 years)
Minimum 5-10 years IT experience, with data analytics component.
Licenses and Certifications: Proficiency with Power BI and Advanced Query/DAX, experience with Python/R/SQL. Basic knowledge of financial systems.
Preferred knowledge of healthcare industry.
Ability to interact with and influence employees across the spectrum of seniority.

The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
