
Key Account Manager - Vascular - Sweden
Job Description
Abbott Vascular is a leading provider of innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective solutions for the treatment of vascular disease.
We are now looking for a Key Account Manager - Coronary to join our Abbott Vascular division in Sweden. The purpose of this role is to deliver revenue objectives in Vascular and strengthen Abbott’s position within cardiovascular disease (CVD), supporting preparation for future launches.
The role is field-based and focused on driving revenue growth and account penetration within cardiac surgery. You will work independently with a strong customer-facing focus, maximizing commercial opportunities and delivering results. This is a pivotal sales role that requires strong business acumen and the ability to manage a range of activities alongside core sales responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
Drive sales performance and deliver agreed revenue targets within the Vascular portfolio
Propose ambitious yet realistic annual targets and forecasts to management
Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and execute call plans and account plans
Prepare and deliver competitive, high-quality responses to tender requests
Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Take initiative in responding to internal and external issues
Effectively prioritize activities to deliver results in a dynamic, field-based environment
What You’ll Bring
A university degree in a scientific or business-related discipline and a strong commercial background in a sales-driven environment
Experience within cardiology, gained either clinically or commercially
Strong English skills and good working knowledge of Swedish for customer interaction
Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders, gaining commitment internally and externally
Strong selling skills combined with the ability to build and maintain trusted customer relationships
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to both lead and contribute effectively
A results-driven, self-motivated approach with resilience, prioritization skills, and persistence
Flexibility to travel 3–4 days per week within Sweden and a valid driver’s license
