Lead AI Practitioner An AI Practitioner enables organisations to responsibly and effectively adopt artificial intelligence by bridging the gap between business needs and technical AI capabilities. They apply practical AI knowledge across the full lifecycle—from opportunity identification through delivery and value realisation—ensuring solutions are ethical, scalable, and aligned to strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Opportunity Identification Problem Definition Work with stakeholders to identify high‑value use cases for AI. Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and ideation activities to clarify problems and desired outcomes. Assess feasibility across data, technology, process, and organisational readiness. AI Solution Design Delivery Support Translate business requirements into AI‑enabled solution concepts. Provide product management guidance on developing tools for business needs. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and architects to shape model requirements and prototypes. Ensure solutions adhere to responsible AI, governance, and regulatory frameworks. Support Proofs of Value (PoVs), pilots, and deployment activities. Ethical, Responsible Safe AI Adoption Champion ethics‑by‑design principles and risk‑aware decision‑making. Support governance processes for model validation, monitoring, transparency, and bias mitigation. AI Literacy, Culture Change Enablement Build AI capability across teams through training, coaching, and practical enablement. Help organisations evolve operating models transitioning to product-led innovation to include AI‑augmented roles and hybrid intelligence ways of working. Contribute to AI Centres of Excellence or AI Labs/Factories to promote repeatable best practice. Stakeholder Engagement Communication Act as an organisational translator—explaining AI concepts in clear, accessible language. Maintain strong relationships with business leads, technical teams, and leadership. Support communications, outcomes reporting, and value demonstration. Continuous Improvement Horizon Scanning Monitor emerging AI trends, tools, platforms and agile product management best practices. Recommend improvements to processes, governance, and reusable assets. Ensure learnings from PoVs/implementations are captured and fed into enterprise AI strategy.
