What You'll Do
-
Diagnose and inspect guest concerns per repair order notes
-
Communicate with guests and team leads to determine nature of mechanical problems through all means; i.e. inspections, test drives, advisor or customer statements

Perform any/all needed repairs and work as outlined on repair orders from team leads with efficiency & accuracy

Collaborate with all service and parts teams to understand needs & provide expert service and advice for guests and dealership vehicles

Take initiative to work with service/shop teammates and manufacturer to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the process

Maintain accurate records of all services performed

Keep up-to-date with the latest mechanical techniques through ongoing training and professional development

Provide excellent customer service to dealership teammates and dealership guests

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
What You'll Need

Obtain and/or maintain ASE Certification
-
High school diploma, GED or vocational training OR job-related course work required completed

Teamwork approach and can-do attitude

Your own repair tools

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment independently, working with multiple projects and meeting deadlines

Ability to interpret installation instructions, diagrams and schematics to ensure accuracy and precision

Strong technical skills and intense desire to learn

Communication skills and a professional demeanor as there may be times when guests need instruction and information

Sense of humor and motivation to learn and succeed with a team
