Job Description

Salary Range: $16.00 per Hour
Shift Type: Part-Time
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Help Desk Manager

 

Monday - Thursday (20 Hours per week)


EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: June 1, 2026 - July 23, 2026


 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

  • To provide phone technology support to all district staff, students, and student families.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education/Certification:

  • High School diploma

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Fluent in speaking Spanish and English

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience troubleshooting electronic devices in an enterprise environment preferred
  • Understanding of enterprise-level applications, especially help desk software
  • Ability to translate help desk calls between Spanish and English

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Handle telephone calls in a polite and informative manner
  • Knowledge of all major operating systems
  • Demonstrates analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
  • Familiar with common enterprise and end-user software including, help desk software, Skyward, Microsoft Office, Email, Google suite, and internet browsers
  • Familiar with Chromebooks, iPads, and Hotspots
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • None

  • Reading close-up work such as typed or handwritten material
