Chaplain

UCSF Health Hyde and Stanyan Hospitals Department of Spiritual Care & Chaplaincy Education provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, their loved ones, and staff at two Community Hospitals - Hyde and Stanyan. Our healthy system is one of the largest in the Western U.S. and has been an integral part of UCSF’s service and teaching mission for many decades. Chaplains are trusted and valued members of interdisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient contexts, and our ACPE accredited program is distinctive for its creative and wide-ranging approach to helping people learn the art of spiritual caregiving.
