Overview
As the Professional Services Managing Director, you will act as a key leader in executing the Professional Services (PS) strategy in North America through influential leadership and expertise. Reporting to the Vice President of North America Professional Services, this highly visible role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Professional Services, Services solution development, go-to-market execution, and AI expertise. You will be responsible for driving the next phase of our PS transformation by aligning people, processes, and technology, ensuring our services drive continuous revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
- Serve as a high-impact executive presence within the leadership team, driving cross-functional alignment and acting as a primary catalyst for strategic innovation across the North America PS organization.
- Lead the strategic adoption of technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to maximize operational efficiency across the Services organization, taking full ownership of the success measurements and creation of KPI frameworks that track these advancements.
- Define the strategic roadmap for Professional Services offerings, aligning with overall business goals, market demand, and customer requirements.
- Own the strategic maturation and scaling of the PSS function, directing the elevation of overall capabilities and operational efficiencies in close collaboration with the Sr. Director PSS.
- Direct the operational maturity of our Mexico Shared Services organization, owning the efficiency strategies that embed and solidify this function as a core component of our regional delivery model.
Professional Services Solutions, Go-to-Market, & Sales Alignment
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for PSS, working closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure effective positioning and messaging.
- Lead the development and refinement of Services solution offerings, ensuring they directly address customer challenges and maintain a highly competitive market position.
- Create tailored value propositions, scalable solution bundles, and innovative Services pricing models that resonate across diverse client segments and industries through partnership with Sales and Marketing.
- Orchestrate cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product Management, and Services Delivery to deliver high-value solutions, taking full ownership of the resulting business impact measured by sustained revenue growth and defined customer satisfaction KPIs.
- Drive Managed Services sales through impactful, influential leadership across PS, Sales, and Pre-Sales teams, as well as through direct strategic engagement in customer and prospect interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Professional Services, solution development, or sales strategy roles, with a focus on developing and delivering services in a B2B environment.
- Deep expertise and a highly strategic mindset with a strong understanding of professional services, solution development, and go-to-market execution.
- An influential and decisive communicator with strong executive presence, capable of earning credibility and building consensus with peers, senior leadership, and high-performing teams.
- A sophisticated change agent and scaling expert with a proven track record of unifying cross-functional teams to elevate foundational practices to high-performance scale, while driving organizational enablement through targeted coaching and the development of strategic training frameworks.
- Deep technological fluency with a proven ability to influence peer leaders, embed AI-driven efficiencies into operational workflows, and design KPIs to measure the success of strategic technological advancements.
- Demonstrated success in maturing and integrating Shared Services or nearshore delivery centers, driving the operational efficiencies required to embed these functions as core components of a unified regional delivery model.
