The Dean of Culture at Montview Elementary leads efforts to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and equity-centered school environment. Grounded in restorative practices, the Dean collaborates with the Culture and Climate Coordinator to uphold behavior expectations and implement tiered supports. The Dean coaches staff on Tier 1 practices, leads professional learning, and responds to behavioral events with natural consequences and restoration. Committed to equity, the Dean ensures support plans are implemented with cultural responsiveness and that all students are treated with dignity and high expectations. Responsibilities include facilitating professional development, coordinating supervision, maintaining behavior documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and modeling inclusive leadership aligned with Montview’s mission and values.
