VDOT Richmond District Location & Design Team is looking for part-time professionals with civil engineering interests to serve as a Wage Roadway Design Engineers to design, and review roadway plans for transportation projects. Applicants should be skilled in the use of computers and software applications to include MS Office, engineering and design software programs. EIT or PE preferred. Knowledge in roadway design and project management for transportation projects is preferred. This is an hourly/wage position and is not entitled to state benefits and is limited to no more than 1500 hours in a 12-month period.
