Directs the mission of the Internal Audit function for Eastern Bankshares Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, Eastern Bank, providing independent, objective assurance to the Board of Directors, through the Audit Committee, regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of the Bank’s system of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
