Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Partners with HR to develop and adjust manpower based upon sales forecasting, historical trending and/or machine capability rates
- Assist in the identification, implementation and evaluation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives in operations to increase productivity and efficiency rates
- Partner with internal operations suppliers (HR, quality, safety, production control, etc.) to ensure quality, delivery, safety, etc. goals are achieved
- Deliver to customers while accomplishing goals in business plan
- Responsible for managing build schedules
- Responsible for developing budget for manufacturing group
- Housekeeping-Maintain appearance of World Class Facility
- Manage maintenance of line
- Required to facilitate monthly/weekly/daily departmental meetings
- May be required to work across multiple shifts and/or weekends as determined by plant manager or designate
- Plans, organizes, integrates, and measures the work performed within the department
- Ensure appropriate leadership and development of his/her team: define clear objectives, allocate resources, monitor activities, allocate fair rewards, provide developmental opportunities etc.
- Encourages and implements team member involvement
