As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol Security Clearance in Stafford, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive locations for irregularities, verify credentials as required, and support compliance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Communicate with site leadership, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when needed, and assist with alarms, evacuations, and other time-sensitive security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
