As a Security Officer Warehouse Screening Agent in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, conduct screenings, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, provide strong customer service and communication, and help support daily operations. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and delivery documentation, and report unusual activity, discrepancies, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken in clear written reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
