Medical Records Manager / Activity Manager

What You’ll Do


Medical Records Management

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date resident medical records 
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations 
  • Coordinate documentation with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams 
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and record requests efficiently 
  • Audit records for completeness and accuracy 

Activity Management

  • Plan and lead engaging recreational and social activities 
  • Create programs that support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being 
  • Organize holiday events, games, outings, and wellness activities 
  • Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships 
  • Work closely with families and staff to enhance quality of life

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Experience in healthcare, medical records, or activity coordination preferred 
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and medical documentation standards 
  • Creative, compassionate, and energetic personality 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, or similar degree, preferred. 


Licenses/Certification

  • None.


Experience

  • Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.
  • Two years’ experience as a Medical Records Clerk or with record keeping responsibility in a health care setting.
  • PCC experience preferred.
$24.00-$28.00
