Deep technical expertise in modern data stacks (Databricks, Fabric), including pipeline orchestration, distributed systems, data modeling, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, cloud (preferably Azure) and automation.
At least 5+ years of leadership and people management experience – ideally overlapping with technical delivery roles including leading distributed engineering teams, building high performing engineering team across hubs such as Warsaw and Porto.
Strong understanding of how to enable AI on top of the data stack and proven track record for the ability to collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML engineers with a solid foundational knowledge for how they work, which tools they use and how they want to use the data for in use cases to deliver business value.
Solid understanding of governance, security, and compliance, ensuring data quality, lineage, privacy, and operational reliability across all domains.
Exceptional cross‑functional communication, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business‑aligned strategies for senior stakeholders.
