This summary provides a listing of the knowledge, skills and abilities that are critical components of the FP&A Data & Systems Analyst position.
General
This is a full-time position that reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and interacts with all employees of the Company as a member of the Finance Team. The individual in this position will also interact with government regulatory authorities such as the Department of Transportation, or others as required. The successful candidate must be able to represent the Company well and exhibit the values and culture of the company while working with all functional groups in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for the accurate and timely production of daily operations reports, including oversight of APIs, file formats and data transfers, system workflows, and database administration
· Administers the end-to-end DOT reporting process, ensuring all required submissions are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule. Responsibilities include data validation, reconciliation across systems, compliance with regulatory standards, documentation of reporting procedures, and collaboration with operations, IT, and compliance teams to address discrepancies and support audits
· Assists in the selection and supports implementation of new data/reporting/analytical tools
· Creates new and enhanced operational and financial reporting to improve business insight and drive financial results
· Delivers ad hoc analysis and insights as required
· Builds repeatable processes with checks, exception handling, and variance thresholds
· Updates data flows and processes as fleets, routes, regulations, and requirements evolve
· Collaborates cross-functionally to identify sources and drive data quality upstream
· Supports Budget/Forecast inputs and internal KPIs alignment (utilization, block hours, fleet plans, departures, and maintenance data, etc.
Education, Qualification and Requirements
· Must be highly ethical, trustworthy individual

· Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong data validation mindset
· Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or a related field
· MBA preferred
· Pass a pre-employment drug test, and background check
· Eligible to work in the United States
· Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
· Proven ability to meet challenging deadlines with minimal supervision
· Documentation discipline with data mapping, data dictionaries, model assumptions, script libraries, change logs, etc.
