Job Description
Job Summary
Directly responsible for managing and coaching day-to-day bill only workflow of scheduling. Ensures work process comply through controlled procedures. As a lead may carry the role as trainer when necessary. Advanced knowledge of processes and procedures for the billing, to include Individual Patient Solutions product.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Manage daily workflow of bill only schedules and processes.
- Able to perform all essential bill only duties and responsibilities which includes, but not limited to billing corrections against invoices and resolving advanced billing discrepancies.
- Coordinates training and development with the bill only team. Ensures training is proficient and evaluations communicated to supervisor.
- Use of SAP for billing transactional requirements.
- Contributes and assists with process improvement initiatives
- Assures Bill Only areas of responsibility are kept in a clean, safe and orderly manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
- Use of SAP preferred but not required
