Filler Operator - Grade 4 - D Shift - 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Every Other Weekend Required

Summary

The Filler Operator is responsible for filling/packaging of the yogurt ensuring food safety and quality requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Load materials into filler, looking for defects and accuracy of materials
• Perform quality checks included, in-process testing, weight checks, and filler checks
• Train other employees as necessary
• Operate various filling machines, including setting up for production, operating from start up to CIP, making equipment adjustments, and monitor the performance and quality of the machines
• Monitor machine operations during production
• Perform basic maintenance of filling machines. Escalate problems to maintenance or supervisors
• Verify all filler connections before production and monitor for leaks
• Assist with cleaning of the filler room and other cleaning duties as assigned
• Use materials with ERP system 
• Perform other duties as assigned 
• Follow Chobani safety procedures
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-6 months in a production environment
