The South Nampa Family Medicine Residency Clinic is now hiring for a team-oriented and efficient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)!

Position Summary & Highlights:

  • This LPN position will primarily support resident physicians at the clinic.

  • Our Family Medicine Residency Clinic is home to licensed physicians who are completing the final step in their medical training in partnership with Mountain States Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research (MSI).

  • These resident doctors work under the close supervision of experienced faculty to provide personalized, high-quality care for the whole family.

  • You will perform rooming, vitals, patient intake, draw labs, assist with minor procedures related to women's health, men's health (vasectomies), colonoscopies, circumcisions, injections, and biopsies.

  • You will also help triage patients in-clinic and over the phone and assist with any other nurse coverage.

  • This is a new position to the clinic so you will be able to help with developing processes and workflows, and as the clinic grows you may have the opportunity to gain leadership experience.

An ideal candidate will:

  • Have outpatient clinic experience ideally in family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, internal medicine, or urgent care.

  • Experience working with resident or new physicians.

  • Be flexible and adaptable with change, being part of a supportive team, and willing to assist in all areas of the clinic.

  • Have good boundaries with providers and patients, foster a teaching environment, and be able to give and take constructive criticism.
