Job Description

Role Overview

As a Lead Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and expanding Freshworks' presence within the Mid-Market and Enterprise segment. You will manage the complete sales cycle, build executive relationships, and consistently deliver against revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo acquisition and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through strategic prospecting and account planning.

  • Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through closure.

  • Develop trusted relationships with C-level and senior business stakeholders.

  • Understand customer challenges and position Freshworks solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Support teams to drive successful customer engagements.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene.

  • Travel as required to support customer and business needs.

  • 7–10 years of sales experience, including 5+ years in SaaS or solution sales.

  • Proven track record in new logo acquisition and quota attainment.

  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and account planning skills.

  • Experience selling to Mid-Market or Enterprise customers.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Exposure to CRM, CX, EX, ITSM, or related SaaS solutions is preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
