ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping (6S) within the work area at the highest degree possible.
Ability to Work in fast paced environment in a breakdown situation safely.
Ability to furnish their own hand tools.
Strong knowledge of electrical tools and how to correctly use them.
Attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to follow electrical drawings and verbal directions.
Ability to identify wire sizes, feed sizes and conduit sizes.
Construct and bend rigid conduit runs and pull circuits plant wide.
Decent understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of electrical safety and LOTO.
Ability to use electrical test equipment, multimeter, ammeter, megger.
Ability to assist and work next to other maintenance men and engineers during troubleshooting.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma.
Career technology school certification, or 1-5 years prior electrical work experience.
Knowledge of electrical tools and safety.
Demonstrated ability to work safely in a fast-paced production facility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Awareness of surroundings and a pro-safety mindset.
A high degree of hand-eye coordination.
Ability to withstand a lot of walking and being on your feet for long periods of time.
Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Ability to perform repetitive work more than 8 hours per day.
Ability to read fine print and distinguish colors.
Ability to reach machine controls five feet above the floor.
Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment.
