Job Summary:

Supports the Workplace Violence Prevention (WPVP) Program by delivering consistent, high-quality training across the organization. Responsible for facilitating WPVP education, maintaining training materials, and ensuring alignment with program goals and regulatory standards. Collaborates with manager to implement strategic initiatives and foster a culture of safety and respect.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitates the Workplace Violence Prevention (WPVP) Program training sessions for employees, leaders, in various formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid).
  • Partners with the WPVP Program manager and security to develop, revise, and maintain training content that reflects current best practices and organizational needs.
  • Supports onboarding processes with WPVP-related education.
  • Tracks and reports training metrics; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Provides coaching and consultation to leaders on WPVP-related topics.
  • Participates in program evaluations and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stays informed on WPVP-related regulations, trends, and evidence-based practices.
  • Assists with incident debriefs and post-event education.
  • Represents the WPVP Program in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
  • Travels regionally as needed to deliver training and support program implementation.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in education, public health, psychology, criminal justice, or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education


EXPERIENCE

  • Three years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
